| I'm home!! Yipee!! It is so great to be back in the deep woods on the "edge of nowhere, almost to somewhere" in Sunapee. I hope Renee made it all the way to "nowhere." We had a super drive back: some great belly laughs, fun times watching Abbot and Costello, yummy food, reading, sleeping, more sleeping...
Can you belive it?! I have 3 substitute teaching days arranged for this week! I feel old :) I get to start w/ 3rd and 2nd grade classes. Pray for me if you think of it!
My mom is crazy and absolutely wonderful! We visited my gram's yesterday and have had fun times at home too. The first night I got back we danced in the living room to Casting Crowns for 1/2 hr. It was great!
I got to go to church yesterday!!! I got to see Jason - he looks really handsome w/ his new gotee (how do you spell that?) He's a great Sunday school teacher. I got to help out a little w/ the class.
Well today it's UNPACKING, rearranging, organizing, more unpacking, more organizing........ooooohhhhh whistle while you work daaa da da da da da daaaaaaaaaa....... :)
| Yipee for Thursday!! My first SLA meeting is tonight, followed by some fun in Kresge! Before this adventure, though, I have my last ever swim class -which includes a final! I hope I don't drown...glub, glub...hee hee.
Yipee for lunch w/ Chrissy, Bekah, Alysaa, and Felicia! What a group! Did you know that we're all going to be world renoun linguists because of our lunch conversation?
I'm getting sleepy...very sleepy...did you know that work in the library makes you tired? Today was particularly amusing because it smells like burnt rubber...I know - wierd...and my supervisors tried calling the phys. plant. Their advice was to call 911 if there was a fire. Well if tomorrow a.m. you wake up and Kinlaw Library is no more or is only a pile of smothering ashes...bring some sticks and marshmellows. :)
| Hello Everyone!
I know, I know - I'm only A YEAR LATE in setting up a xenga site! Boy, have I been missing out. It is sooooo neat to read about all my pals from the BEAST and the world beyond.
Only 2 more weeks until I'm "on the road again!" with my beloved Renee. Did you know that it will be the first time I'll ever have been to Missouri?! She and I are going to have a blast driving all the way back to NH - the long way so we can visit her family :) - and her poor brother will have to put up with our giggling (and snorting)....
So I have the coolest sweet on campus! Oh yeah - Alyssa is quite the burper, Renee - well she's just horsey, and Meg sure knows how to enjoy the beach - even when she's 1000 miles away! Emily (make sure you try to say that with a French accent or while eating a baguette) is the bestest roomie, with the beautifulest name, the lovliest smile, and the sweetest spirit! Look out world - here comes our next Mother Theresa!
Just to make you smile...what do you call a dead parrot?...a polygone! hee hee haa haa
I'd tell you another joke about a pencil...but it doesn't have any point!
